More Resilient Than Ever Before

    They say "Filipinos are like a bamboo tree". Indeed, it is an overused quote, though it is true. Filipinos are similar to a bamboo tree, as they both possess the characteristics of being resilient, strong, and flexible. Over the past hundred years in the Philippines, it has been proven that Filipinos can withstand the hardships and difficulties they've faced, including natural disasters, poverty, and even the invasion of Spaniards, Japanese people, and Americans. However, in this 21st century, have Filipinos changed their style in battling the endless problems that occur?

    As time passes, Filipinos become stronger than they ever were before. Now that they are connected with the advancement of modern world technology and the availability of the internet, this increased connectivity has allowed Filipinos to have access to knowledge and information all over the world, uncovering them to different views, ideas, and perspectives. This made the Filipinos more intelligent and open-minded, as they get inspired to be firm and aware of what to do. Allowing them to learn from the experiences of others and apply those lessons to their own challenges. Empowering them to face the trials of life in a more strategic and informed manner that enhances their resilience and capability.   

    Moreover, despite the Filipinos being part of a third-world country with a lot of current issues, they have no other option but to accept the fact. Although, these

weaknesses are turned into confidence and strength in order for them to fight. Filipinos are persistent and adaptable as they can adjust to any situation they're in. They do not complain but rather stay patient and look at the brighter side by smiling and praying hoping God would hear their prayers. Nevertheless, Filipinos are sure and positive that everything will turn out just fine because they have deep faith and belief in The Almighty as they rely upon and entrust their lives and the future to Him.
